It seems like forever since I have posted a cool MINI video (sorry about that!). Now that Mickey and MINI is over, I can get back to posting up some of my favorite MINI finds. In this gem, an amazing stunt driver shows off how to parallel park a MINI in one quick maneuver:

Mickey and MINI 2006 – A Great Success
Well another Mickey and MINI has come and gone. I had an absolute blast. From the Friday night car show to the welcome dinner and awards presentation to Saturday’s early morning drive to eating and drinking around the world @ EPCOT – it was great fun. It amazes me each time I attend a MINI event such as this to see such nice people come out and just have a good time with people they have never met. Sure, talking on forums or in a chat room is nice, but putting a face to a screen name is pretty cool. The wheels are in motion to get ideas down for next year. With the help of some national exposure from MINIUSA, next year should be awesome! Make sure you make plans to join us next October for Mickey and MINI 3 :). Here are some pics from the weekend. I have many more that I will post later as soon as I get my gallery running.

MotoringFun.com MINI Chat Room Now Open
Since the WhiteRoofRadio.com chat was such a hit, I decided that a permanent chat server might be a great idea. I was even thinking of scheduling special chat events on various MINI-related topics. To accomplish this, I had to find some decent chat software. Parachat was quick and free, but I did not like that is was not hosted on my server and I did not have full control over it. X7 Chat seemed to be quite robust and allows for more of a community experience. Users can send mail messages back and forth in the system, create rooms, and of course send PMs. I really like the layout and I hope you do to. Check back soon for an updated shedule of chat events.
