Video: Road & Track 2009 Clubman Review?
Wow – I think I am going to make this one into a game called… “Count the Mistakes!”. From the title of the video “2009 Mini Clubman” to stating that the MINI Clubman S has a supercharger (don’t I wish!), I am amazed this video actually made it out there. See if you can find any other errors!

Motor Trend Likes The Clubman
It looks like the folks at Motor Trend really like the new MINI Clubman after their chance to take it through its paces. While the Clubman won’t appeal to all MINIacs, I think it may do what it was set out to do – attract those who may never have considered a MINI before. For those who always thought the MINI was just too small, the Clubman may add just the right amount of space to make them think twice.
“I’ve never been all that much of Mini fanboy, but I think I’ve just become a card-carrying member of the Clubman cult.” – Edward Loh (Motor Trend)

MINI Challenge Racers Take Flight!
The Motor Report has a sweet article about 20 of the the new JCW MINI Challenge cars being airlifted from Germany to Australia to arrive on time to compete in the inaugural Australian MINI CHALLENGE Series! Wait a second – why from Germany you ask? Well according to the article:
“The MINI Cooper Works CHALLENGE cars are built in Plant Oxford, in the UK, the home of all MINI production cars. They are then shipped to BMW Motorsport in Germany for final race fit out which sees the fitment of roll cages, fire extinguishers, six-point safety harnesses and HANS head and neck support compatible race seats as well as competition brakes, wheels and a distinctive aero body kit.”

Product Spotlight: MINI Clubman Painted C Panels
With all the buzz swarming around the new MINI Clubman, new owners are gearing up to take delivery of these new vehicles and thinking of mods already. As usual, Pete from Minspeed.net is one step ahead of the competition. Listening to the criticism from many who have been studying this new MINI, he has taken the steps to provide, what many consider, to be the first necessary mod to the Clubman – Rear C Panel (rear trim) replacements to match the body color of the rest of the car. If you haven’t checked out Pete’s website, take a moment to check it out and tell him MotoringFun.com sent you :).
MINI Takes The States 2008 Update
In an e-mail sent to select MINI owners last night, it looks like MINIUSA is shooting for March to deliver more detailed information on MINI Takes The States 2008. All I will say is, sure would be nice to have this information already, since some of us actually work and need to request vacation time well in advance (sigh). Thanks to MINI_Marc for this find (I apparently am not on the “list” because I did not receive the e-mail):
