MINI Cooper – Consumer Reports’ Most Reliable
Now here’s a switch! When I ordered my first MINI back in late 2004, Consumer Reports displayed the dreaded black circle next to the MINI Cooper in their car review issue, indicating it as an unreliable car. Granted, that did not stop me from buying my MINI of course! However, it is nice to see that MINI has turned things around in the reliability department and earning the Consumer Reports’ Most Reliable Sporty Hatchback for 2006.
John Cooper Works Site Back Online
After a brief hiatus from the net, the John Cooper Works website is back online. If you have never been there, check it out as there are some pretty cool performance parts that you just might not have seen in your dealer’s part catalouge. 🙂

Product Spotlight – MyMini Carbon Fiber Inserts
Do you have a MINI Cooper aero kit and are sick of those fake diffuser stickers on the back? I have had mine for 5 months and the decals are already starting to yellow! Well, thanks to MyMINI‘s new carbon fiber inserts, I no longer have to look at that eye sore. These carbon fiber inserts fit right over the existing decals and give the rear of the car a TOTALLY new look! It really completes the aero kit look in my opinion as it brings black to the rear of the car to match the look of the front of the car. I highly recommend this easy mod! MyMINI also carries carbon fiber inserts for the stock non-aero kit bumper as well. The pair will cost you $100.
