Well at the last minute right before the live 100th episode of WhiteRoofRado.com was about to be recorded, I got an idea to put up a quick chat room on MotoringFun.com. Found Parachat and it worked like a dream! Thanks to all who participated and to DB, Todd, Gabe and the rest of the WRR cast of characters for letting us be a part of this historic event! We MUST do this again soon!
For those who don’t know, WhiteRoofRadio.com hosts a weekly podcast (actually they have 2 podcasts a week) with hosts db, Todd, and Gabe where they sit around and discuss MINI stuff. It really is quite informative and fun to listen too. Well anyways… they are going to tape their 100th show tonight LIVE via Skype. Here is a new site selling some creative MINI-related bumper stickers and t-shirts. The designs will be limited production runs so if you like a design, grab it while you can before they retire it. I stumbled across this post the other day and it really made me stop and think. It really does sum up what MINI ownership can do to a person. It was posted by MINIBee and I think it is great!
Before my MINI, I didn’t enjoy driving my car. It wasn’t that it was a bad car (1998 Honda CRV) it just wasn’t a fun car and it was just my transportation for a 60-mile round trip commute. I was always in a bad mood when I drove the CRV. In the MINI, however, it’s really hard to be in a bad mood. And a better mood has caused me to be a better person.
