The first run of MINI Cooper Clubmans (Clubmen?) were just unloaded at various MINI dealerships today, giving them plenty of time to get them spruced up and ready for show next weekend! I have been told that no test drives are allowed to take place before the launch and that the Motoring Advisors will be pretty busy getting familiar with the new cars and even test driving them at the MINIUSA orientation event next week. My husband and I test drove a Clubman at our local MINI dealer today. We drove an automatic and a six speed manual. The Clubman would be a great car for the driver who has a need for space for the family, but who wants the overall feel of the MINI. The Clubman was beautiful, with the doors and bountiful cargo area. We opted, however, for a Cooper S, since we have no children and only a 5 lb dog (Grin). The S makes me smile. What can I say?
