In case you missed it, SPEED Channel will be re-broadcasting the last Grand-Am race from Mid Ohio early tomorrow morning at 3am, so set your DVRs! Why would this interest you? Because the #196 RSR MINI took the pole position and led the first 35 laps or so – that’s why! The 3 RSR MINIs ended up finishing 13th, 19th and 27th due to some rain, but man what a showing!

Aha! During lunch at minisontop this weekend, the TV at the bar had racing on, and instead of the expected boring nascar I did a double take and saw a mini leading the pack! What perfect timing on such a mini day.
That is so great! RSR on the pole in a professional GrandAm race! First MINI Pole Position ever in GrandAm! RSR is definitely on the rise – the new drivers will help a lot, IMHO. Very cool it was on Speed TV during MOT!
Yeah – it was SOOO awesome to watch the 196 lead the pack for so long until the rain came… What a run!!!!
