R56 Tuners Hard At Work Already
AutoMotoPortal.com has a pretty cool article on what some early R56 tuners are working on. Hamann has added a pretty sharp looking aero kit, sporty intake, exhaust and height-adjustable coilover suspension to make one cool-looking R56 MINI. They are also offering custom interior work. Not too shabby looking, I must say.

New MINIUSA.com Website
Earlier tonight I checked MINIUSA.com but it still had the same site we have been used to seeing for a few years and then just now I checked it again and BAM – a whole new site is there! Oh – and guess what? The new configurator is online. I am happy to report it is nothing like the German version I could not figure out. It actually looks almost like the old configurator, just with the new car. If you look closely though, under accessories, you will still see the old model MINI shown sporting some of the items. Well what are you waiting for? Go and configure your R56!

2007 MINI UK Configurator Is Online
So you went to the MINI of Germany site to play with the 2007 configurator and were not impressed, right? Maybe it’s because you couldn’t read German!?!? Ok, I’ll admit – that was my problem :). After a brief hiatus from the net, the John Cooper Works website is back online. If you have never been there, check it out as there are some pretty cool performance parts that you just might not have seen in your dealer’s part catalouge. 🙂
WhiteRoofRadio.com Episodes 100 and 101
The two episodes of WhiteRoofRadio.com that were recorded with a “live studio audience” last week in conjunction with MotoringFun.com’s chat room were released. Thanks to Todd for not editting all the MotoringFun.com references and leaving some nice on-air mentions. Who would have thought that that night, the MotoringFun.com chat room would get its start and grow into what we have today! Hopefully we can do it again soon.
