This past weekend I had the privilege of taking my STOCK 2006 MINI Cooper S (except PBR Ceramic pads and ATE Superblue fluid) out on the track. We arrived Saturday morning at the Homestead-Miami Speedway for 2 full days of track time with the PBOC Motorsports Club. I will post more information regarding the weekend soon, but for now I wanted to get this short video clip up to keep my inbox from filling up with all the video requests I have been getting! “Mini Cooper owners from all over New England and New York will gather in Westerly, RI on Sunday December 3rd as the Miniís-Making-A-Wish organization hosts their 4th Annual Toy Run and Rally to benefit the Make-A-Wish FoundationÆ of Rhode Island. Wish Kid Hillary, who was granted her wish of visiting the Big Apple, will be leading the Mini Cooper troops from the front seat of the Wishmobile.
Miniís will meet at 9 a.m. at the new Westerly Middle School on Sandy Hill Road in Westerly, RI. At 10 a.m. sharp the Miniís will pack up and rally to the Make-A-Wish FoundationÆ of Rhode Island headquarters in Cranston, RI, to deliver hundreds of new, unopened toys for Wish children that have been donated by the public.

This video is just great entertainment for any MINI enthusiast. Really made me feel like I was almost there. To the one gentleman who lost his wife, I hope you found what you were looking for! Well another Mickey and MINI has come and gone. I had an absolute blast. From the Friday night car show to the welcome dinner and awards presentation to Saturday’s early morning drive to eating and drinking around the world @ EPCOT – it was great fun. It amazes me each time I attend a MINI event such as this to see such nice people come out and just have a good time with people they have never met. Sure, talking on forums or in a chat room is nice, but putting a face to a screen name is pretty cool. The wheels are in motion to get ideas down for next year. With the help of some national exposure from MINIUSA, next year should be awesome! Make sure you make plans to join us next October for Mickey and MINI 3 :). Here are some pics from the weekend. I have many more that I will post later as soon as I get my gallery running.
